Living for Christ in the Heart of Guam

Calvary Connection

Greetings in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ!

Kristi and I were excited to celebrate our fourth year anniversary with CBC on May 18th. We would like to thank CBC for the gifts and the time of fellowship we shared together.  It is exciting to be back on Guam and experience the many changes that are taking place on our island. Over the next few years Guam’s growth rate is projected to increase from 30 to 50 thousand by the year 2014 with many military and civilian families relocating on our island.  Our church leadership is working hard to plan ahead for the growth and development of Guam. Expansion of our Physical Plant and expanding our ministries will be necessary to meet the growth rate of our island.

God has already blessed our church since the beginning of 2008 with 15 new additions to our church membership. Each Sunday we have the opportunity to greet and worship with individual and families looking for a church home. Finding a church home in a strange place can be sometimes stressful and exciting at the same time. It’s important for CBC to make each person feel comfortable and welcomed to our island.

Kristi and I are opening up our home each week for visiting families to fellowship with us and share with them CBC’s vision for the future. I would encourage our church members to take time to fellowship with prospective church members and guests. Remember fellowship in the early church played a great role in growing the church. As our island becomes more and more populated we will have many opportunities to minister to new families and individuals from many cultures and places. Kristi and I are looking forward to how God will use us and the Calvary congregation in the future to help expand His Kingdom on Guam. Let us join hands together to help prepare this island for spiritual growth and the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
