OUR PASTOR Dr. Tony and Kristi Smith are natives of Glasgow, Kentucky. They have three daughters and seven grandchildren. All three of their daughters are married to men serving in our Armed Forces.
Pastor Tony has served as a senior pastor on our island for ten years in two different Southern Baptist churches. He has held leadership positions with our Guam Baptist Association and has worked with volunteer agencies on our island in areas of mental health, drug addiction, disaster relief and Christian counseling. Pastor Tony has a BA Degree in Church Ministries from Clear Creek Baptist Bible College, an MDIV/MA from New Orleans Southern Baptist Seminary. He has attended Western Kentucky University in management counseling and attended the University of Nevada Reno School of Addiction Studies. Pastor Tony is certified as a Chemical Addiction Specialist and holds certifications with BADA & NAADAC. He is also a member of the AACC and has worked as a Senior Mental Health Specialist at West Jefferson Behavior Medicine Clinic in New Orleans, Lousiana. He has served as a Southern Baptist pastor for over twenty-five years throughout the United States, Canada and Guam. His wife Kristi is CBC's Sunday School Director, seasonal choir director, leads our puppet team, and is a member of the praise and worship team, VBS Director, and our church website coordinator. Our church and community is excited to have Pastor Tony and Kristi with their background and experience back on the island of Guam as our senior pastor.
