Welcome to Calvary Baptist Church History

Calvary is an English speaking Southern Baptist Church located in Upper Tumon on the island of Guam which is 212 square miles with a population of 171,000 in the Western Pacific. Calvary's goal is to be a thriving, multicultural, and diverse church in the heart of Guam.

At Calvary you will find a loving church with people from all cultures, and nationalities. We aspire to help and serve all people; the young, the older, devoted followers and those who desire to know more about Jesus.

Calvary is conveniently located for military personnel stationed at Andersen Air Force Base and US Naval Station Guam. We are also convenient for visitors to the island as Calvary is minutes away from most of the hotels and tourist attractions.

Our congregation has the opportunity to minister to the military, Chamorro, Filipino, Anglo, Micronesian and other English speaking people. We are reaching out to migrant workers, tourists and recreational divers. We feel Calvary is a unique church with a unique opportunity to touch lives and be a witness for Christ in the Micronesian region.
